It's After Inventory Sale time again. Selected yarns and pattern books are 30% - 70% off thru the end of January. I can't believe it is time to be creating room for new spring yarn which will start arriving at the end of this month.
Our Block of the Month Afghan will begin on Thursday February 16 from 6:00 - 8:00pm. If you are interested in attending these classes call for details. It is a good way to try new stitches for 12 months and end up with an afghan at the end. The number to call is 860-749-4005. Class space will be limited to 12 people.
Spinning get togethers are now in full swing. The next one will be Monday January 9 from 6:00 to 8:30. The fee for this is two non-perishable items to donate to the Food Pantry in Somers. Bring your wheel, drop spindle or just come with questions. It's about having fun for a good cause.
As always don't ever get stuck on a project just stop in for help. Knitting is supposed to be relaxing not stressful and we try to keep it that way.
When you are doing your spring cleaning if you find extra yarn or unwanted needles in your stash we are always taking donations to be passed on to people who create beautiful items for the needy. Thank you for all donations.
We are also taking donations for the Somers Food Pantry. Items may be dropped off during business hours and will be taken every Tuesday to the Food Pantry. Thank you for your generosity.
